TransitMap app good for
of the transit apps ive tried, this one integrates the most seamlessly when launched from apple maps "route" button. it launches with a clear graphical map view of the route, no muss no fuss (others get confused, or show a long complicated chart view).
I hardly ever write reviews, but this app is pretty darn good! The best part is that it actually works in my region. After emailing the creator and asking about adding the ability to alter departure/arrival times, he quickly responded and indicated he is already hard at work on it! I cant wait!
I gave four stars only, because of the one feature that is still in the pipeline. Other than that, the app works really well.
Some bad moments
I have 100 ways to get their using my feet. I need to use public transport. Stupid, useless app.
Ive been hungry for a transit app, but this gave me the worst directions in Edmonton.
After the major fail of Apple Maps I was left without any option for navigating the Paris métro. And I dont mean station-to-station routes - I need something to get me to a specific station/line while I am out walking.
I downloaded this app hoping to get walking directions for Paris along with the métro stations marked on the map of those walking directions.
I see no transit directions on this map. Am I missing something?! Did I download the wrong app? Did I mis-read the description?
Disappointed. Yet again. Google Maps where are you for iPhone!! I need you!!
It keeps crashing and it has the same functionality as google map which is free
Sorry this app may use Googles transit API, but it doesnt interpret the directions well at all, the first step of the directions made me go the wrong way down a one way street! How does transit do that?
Seems to give decent transit directions. Needed improvements: 1. The ability to search Contacts to avoid having to type origin and destination addresses. 2. The ability to bookmark favorite locations and routes
